We are inviting folks to get creative in their sci-fi imaginations of futures without violence or punishment. We know that what people say should make us safe (like police, prisons, and borders) actually does the opposite.
So we want to hear from you — what would really make you feel safe? What would safety feel and taste and smell like? Here in our society in Germany, or on earth, or on other planets…
Write down a word or two/ a doodle or two on a piece of paper, snap a photo, and post it to our Twitter, Instagram or Facebook with the hashtags #WirklichSicher and #ReallySafe. We’ll also be gathering these drawings and words at all of our public events and workshops on the book tour this summer and sharing them on our social media.
